I’ve recently started submitting some of my work for exhibitions around my area (Kent UK). I’ve moved back to making very personal artwork, and not really thinking about whether it’s “commercial” or not.
Below is a drawing I created for an exhibition at Brew in Folkestone. The title of the show is ‘Cover’, and the concept is to create artwork based on famous album artwork. My piece is based on the cover of Pink Floyd’s ‘The Division Bell’ with the two metal faces. I like it because I have an interest in anthropology and it reminds me of lots of primitive and pre-historic art.
The piece is 12″ by 12″ and priced at £150. Original drawing on cartridge paper, framed.
